This first learning report from the VaxSocial initiative—a $13 million program launched in 2023 by Advancing Health Online (AHO), Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and the Gates Foundation—shares early insights from the six grantees currently implementing social media-based strategies to boost vaccine trust and uptake. With growing global internet and mobile access, social media presents a powerful tool for health communication.
