Building Bridges through Digital Innovation: VaxSocial at SBCC and Beyond

Update

The VaxSocial Initiative is a $12 million initiative that supports country-driven projects that leverage social media and behavioral science to build confidence around routine immunizations and drive scale and replicability in approach across geographies. It has been implemented across India, Indonesia and Nigeria.

Emerging findings from across the VaxSocial initiative are being presented at the International Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) Summit in Panama June 2026. Whilst monitoring and evaluation is still ongoing, delivery in the field has been completed. Early analysis presents a promising picture of the impact of integrated digital tools to improve vaccination outcomes.

More information can be found in the resources below.

Sign up here for a forthcoming webinar on 16th July 2026.  This one-hour seminar is aimed at those working across health system strengthening, including those working in funding organisations, local and national government, local health care delivery and delivery partners. The session will highlight emerging impact on integrating online digital and offline engagement in social and behaviour change projects.
